Welcome to the Old Market Hall Film & Digital Media Centre, an exciting arts centre for Shrewsbury. Set in Shrewsbury's historic Square in the heart of the town this magnificent Elizabethan building has recently been restored to its former glory and is ready to welcome the public once again and play a vital role in this beautiful town.

The Old Market Hall combines Shrewsbury's history, its people and its future with a blend of classic Elizabethan architecture and cutting edge contemporary design.

A range of exciting opportunities awaits guests to the Old Market Hall. The centre is the place to obtain a different view of the world with our cultural cinema programme screening films from all over the globe. Guests can view work from local, national and international artists working in digital media, or through our MediaMaker programme, explore digital media and the possibilities it presents. The centre also invites guests to relax, enjoy a refreshing drink and simply marvel at this beautiful building.
