This crowd-pleasing film is the first feature documentary on The Doors, one the most controversial rock bands of the 1960’s, and reveals an intimate perspective on their creative chemistry. Using footage shot between the band’s 1965 formation and Jim Morrison’s death in 1971, When You’re Strange follows the band from the corridors of UCLA’s film school to the stages of sold-out arenas.
