SUBTITLED SCREENING

The Old Market Hall regularly screens films with captioned subtitles for the deaf and hearing impaired. These screenings are open to both hearing and hearing impaired audiences.

Inspired by a true friendship that transcended race, class and the 1962 Mason-Dixon line, bouncer Tony is hired to drive a world-class Black pianist on a concert tour. Confronted with racism, danger as well as unexpected humanity and humour they must rely on “The Green Book” to guide them to the few establishments that were then safe for African-Americans.
